Not every business begins with capital. Some begin with conviction. Founded in 2003 by Sanjit Saha, Sonai Furniture started as a small fabrication workshop in Siliguri with a commitment to quality, durability, and disciplined manufacturing.

The early years were demanding and uncertain, but the foundation remained clear — every product had to be built properly, finished properly, and delivered responsibly. That manufacturing discipline continues to define Sonai Furniture more than two decades later.

Sonai Furniture now operates with CNC laser cutting systems, MIG welding stations, and a fully equipped 9-tank powder coating process designed for superior rust resistance and finish quality.

With skilled fabricators, welders, and quality inspectors, Sonai manufactures institutional furniture, modular storage systems, outdoor furniture, hospital lockers, heavy-duty racks, and custom steel fabrication solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Founder Sanjit Saha has remained actively connected with industrial development and MSME advocacy across the region. He served as Chairman of CII North Bengal and contributed to discussions around industrial growth, manufacturing ecosystems, and MSME development.

He also served on the MSEFC (Micro & Small Enterprises Facilitation Council), Government of West Bengal, working on issues related to delayed payments, MSME protection, and sustainable industrial practices.
